The Abhishekam ceremony’s transformational power is extended to devotees at the Ashtalakshmi Devasthanam. See the holy Lakshmi murti (idol) anointed with a waterfall of pure ghee . It is said that by performing this symbolic bathing and invoking the prayers and mantras in a melodic manner, one might call upon the benefits of the Goddess of Prosperity.
As the golden liquid cascades over the murti, worshippers give their sincere blessings for prosperity, plenty, and spiritual development. A strong and engrossing atmosphere is created by the rhythmic chanting, which enables people to connect with Lakshmi’s holy essence. For devotees hoping to receive the benefits of prosperity and a revitalized sense of well-being, seeing or taking part in the Abhishekam ceremony is an incredibly fulfilling experience.
This ritual is believed to invoke the blessings of Lord Shiva and is often performed by devotees seeking fulfillment of their wishes, spiritual growth, and liberation from worldly troubles. Rudrabhishekam is usually performed by priests in temples
The ritual is accompanied by the chanting of Vedic mantras and prayers, invoking the blessings of Lord Shiva for the well-being and prosperity of the devotees. Panchamrita Abhishekam is often performed on special occasions and festivals dedicated to Lord Shiva, such as Maha Shivaratri.
