Naamakarana, also known as Namkaram or Naming Ceremony, is a significant Hindu ritual where a newborn baby is given a name. Conducting a Naamakarana ceremony at home with the assistance of a priest adds a traditional and auspicious touch to the event. The priest begins the ceremony by purifying himself with water and reciting prayers to invoke blessings from the divine.
